Meal of the week ‘Garden Skillet’


Fast and easy Garden Skillet will Satisfy even the pickiest eaters.

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
½ onion, sliced
1 lb. ground chuck
2 medium-sized zucchini cut in slices or half-moon slices
2 medium-sized yellow squash, cut in slices or half-moon slices

Suggested Spices: Get creative and use your own
2-4 T chopped fresh or dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash the zucchini and squash and cut in slices or half-moon slices.
Slice onion thinly.
Sauté onion for a few minutes, add sausage and cook until brown.
Add zucchini and yellow squash to sautéed sausage and onion.
Add dried spices and cook another 10 minutes until zucchini and squash is cooked through.
Optional: Sprinkle with parmesan or mozzarella cheese.
Plate and enjoy!!
